Call for Industry Sponsors: RIG Bootcamp on Foundational Behavior Models for Robotics

Support breakthrough robotics research and connect with Germany's top PhD talent

The KIT Center Information · Systems · Technologies (KCIST) invites industry partners to sponsor the first RIG Bootcamp on Foundational Behavior Models for Robotics, taking place November 24–28, 2025.

This intensive one-week research sprint brings together PhD candidates from leading German universities to advance foundational behavior models – systems that enable robots to understand and respond to language, vision, and physical interactions across diverse tasks and environments.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Real-World Use Cases: Share industry challenges and applications for robot behavior models. Your use cases will help guide research directions and ensure academic work addresses practical needs.

Computational Resources: Contribute GPU clusters or cloud compute credits for model training and experiments. Foundation models require substantial computational power for development and testing.

Financial Support: Enable participation of talented PhD candidates and support event organization through monetary contributions. Financial sponsors help ensure the bootcamp's success and accessibility.

Why Partner with Us

Academic-industry collaboration drives innovation. As a sponsor, you will connect directly with PhD researchers working at the forefront of robotic intelligence, contribute to advancing Germany's robotics research ecosystem, and help shape the direction of foundational behavior model research.

All sponsorships will be acknowledged appropriately, and we welcome discussions about how partnerships can best align with your organization's interests in robotics and AI.
